General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following conditions apply to and are deemed to be incorporated in all contracts for sale and supply of the company's services and materials. By purchasing an item from Biker Parts Direct you are agreeing to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.

Ordering from us
The placing of an order expresses acceptance of our terms and conditions of business. These terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights. All prices shown include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the statutory rate current at the date of invoice. The company reserves the right to alter prices and / or specifications at any time and without prior notice.

Payment
No goods shall pass from the company to the customer unless and until the customer has made full and complete payment to the company. It is the customers responsibility to notify Biker Parts Direct in the special instructions box of the details of their vehicle. If the incorrect product is supplied due to failure of this then Biker Parts Direct will exchange the product and charge a handling fee of 20% plus any extra cost of the replacement product. If the replacement products costs less than the original item, Biker Parts Direct will exchange the product and refund the difference, minus the 20% handling fee.

We accept Amex, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Shop Pay and payments through Klarna.
Full cleared funds must be received by Biker Parts Direct before the goods will be dispatched.

Delivery
Fast delivery on all items to mainland UK addresses. (Please note we do not ship to PO boxes and BFPO addresses). Our usual delivery time shall be 2-3 working days from receipt of payment, but most of the time it will be quicker. Please note that some areas will incur a delivery charge even if the order meets the free delivery value, this is due to additional charges applied by the couriers for areas they class as offshore islands or Scottish Highlands as a couple of examples. Any additional charge will be shown during checkout before you pay.

Overseas Deliveries: You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Biker Parts Direct, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

Once the item has left us, we are in the hands of the carrier and rely on them to attain the target delivery time. We do supply contact details for the carrier upon the order being dispatched and please contact our office if you need us to chase a delivery.
IMPORTANT - IF THE ITEM IS DELIVERED DAMAGED YOU MUST SIGN FOR IT AS DAMAGED AND NOTIFY US WITHIN 24 HOURS OR WE CAN NOT MAKE A CLAIM FOR MISSING/DAMAGED GOODS AND CAN NOT REPLACE THEM FREE OF CHARGE.

Guarantee

The company guarantees that should our products not be to the standard, or in any significant way different from that advertised, we will refund any monies paid by the customer, but shall only apply to the item/s in question. Complaints or non-receipt of goods must be reported to the company in writing within 10 working days of order date. Biker Parts Direct will not be held responsible for any costs incurred due to a faulty product by the customer unless they have been agreed, with prior arrangement by Biker Parts Direct. This clause does not affect your statutory rights. The company does not accept responsibility for damage to any equipment in which our products are used for the purpose other than those for which it was designed.

Returns

FAULTY ITEMS Biker Parts Direct is pleased to offer an exchange, replacement, or refund on any faulty* item, accompanied by proof of purchase, within a reasonable period of time** of the original purchase date. This does not affect your statutory rights.
* Faulty: This does not include fair wear & tear or deliberate misuse. This is at Biker Parts Direct’s discretion.
** Normally a reasonable period is 3 months, though this is at Biker Parts Direct’s discretion.
Any goods returned undelivered, or any customers wishing to return goods for reasons other than the item being faulty or errors made by Biker Parts Direct will be subject to a 20% handling and restocking charge which will be deducted from any refund. Any original postage and packaging charge cannot be refunded.
The customer will be liable for return postage costs. Biker Parts Direct can arrange collection of items for a fee (Mainland UK only). No items for return can be accepted at the company offices without prior agreement.

Outside these times, customer service enquiries will be queued and answered at the first available time, in the order in which they were received.
